Sian Lewin

Co-Founder & Head of Client Delivery at RegTech Associates

Sian has over 20 years of prior experience managing regulatory changes for large financial institutions before delving into RegTech. At RegTech Associates, she leads a series of programmes that helps RegTech companies of varying maturity to refine, grow and realize their potential. Sian is also the founder of RegTech Women which aims to promote and enhance the role women play in driving the success of the RegTech Industry via empowerment, collaboration celebration and improvement. Sian was also chosen as one of the Women in FinTech Powerlist 2018 by a panel of independent judges. Women in FinTech Powerlist aims to celebrate amazing women innovators making an impact across the FinTech and Financial Services space. 

 

Lucy Heavens

Co-founder of RegTech Women

Lucy is also a co-founder and Advisory Board member of RegTech Women, actively promoting the role of women in driving the success of RegTech. With a passion for marketing FinTech and RegTech solutions, Lucy can be recognized as an industry influencer, being an active commentator and thought leader on social media with expertise spanning FinTech, RegTech, Big Data and Digital Transformation. She has also been on The Planet Compliance Top 50 RegTech Influencers. Currently, Lucy is leading the marketing at Wealth Dynamix. Lucy is a self-confessed tech-geek, recognised globally for her thought leadership and expertise spanning FinTech, RegTech, WealthTech, Big Data and Digital Transformation. In addition, she has been included in the 2017 and 2019 Innovate Finance Women in FinTech Power Lists.  

 

Jo Ann Barefoot

CEO and Cofounder of AIR 

Jo Ann is currently the CEO and Cofounder of AIR which stands for the Alliance for Innovation Regulation which is a non-profit organisation that digitalize the financial regulatory system to promote fair finance and a more innovative and resilient financial sector. Jo Ann advocates for regulation innovation and promotes it by speaking and advising on these topics. She even hosts a global podcast show called Barefoot Innovation where She is also an angel investor and is serving on various boards and financial advisory committees that have a focus on FinTech, RegTech. Some of the companies include Oportun, FINRA, Milken Institute U.S. FinTech Advisory Committee. been inducted into the 2020 FinTech Hall of Fame by CB Insights. 

 

Nicola Cowburn

Founding Member and Executive Board Member of the International RegTech Association (IRTA)

Nicola is a Founding Member and Executive Board Member of the International RegTech Association (IRTA). A FinTech and RegTech evangelist with 25 years’ experience in digital transformation and financial services regulatory compliance. She drives go-to-market strategy and has been working with high-growth technology SMEs and FinTech/RegTech start-ups, to help them evolve into successful global enterprises. Highly experienced in establishing effective marketing functions, growing SMEs to the point of acquisition. Nicola is also regularly featured in Planet Compliance Top 50 RegTech Influencers list and Women in FinTech Power List.

 

Megan Li

Co-Founder of Regtank Technology

Megan is the co-founder of Regtank Technology which aims to simplify compliance for the next generation. Regtank provides an integrated SaaS solution that helps to automate the compliance process. Megan has been invited to several notable events to share about the development of RegTech. Most recently, in celebration of International Womens’ Day, she has been invited to speak in a webinar hosted by Women in Blockchain, a sub-committee of Blockchain Association Singapore that facilitates collaboration between all market participants and stakeholders in the Blockchain ecosystem.
